It’s the second time I knit it with the same yarn 😂. First time it ended up too big after blocking - and I did swatch. Frogging and reknit was worth it though as I made a few adjustments and love the fit now.

I once saw someone feeding a rabbit a McFlurry in the Eaton Centre food court, but I think the pig in a leash in a hotel trumps that 😀

Njord DK Socks, Lift Me UP Mittens, Coastal Drift Mittens, Bolton Pass Hat, Nydia Hat - these would work, I’ve knit them all and all great patterns. They are all on Ravelry.

Impressed you saw it fly off and then found it. Reminds me of the time one of the kids got out of the car to get the mail, dropped my keys into the snow in the ditch, husband had to walk up with his keys and a shovel. I wondered if the neighbors saw us digging in their ditch.

Thanks! I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with it.

It’s pretty rough, we’ll call it ‘art yarn’. But my first skein on my new to me Louet S10. I learned a lot from start to finish so looking forward to my next practice fibre.
Fibre is Finnigan’s Rainbow from Belfast Mini-Mills (mohair, merino and alpaca).

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

I voted last weekend. Robert decided to go another time when it’s less busy. 45 minute wait at the Qplex.

Big projects are hard to capture in photos.
Happy to have Rioux off my needles and blocked. I’ve been working on it off and on since last July.
Thanks @knitjbeale for the beautiful, challenging pattern. Can’t wait to start my next one!

I figured it out and I think I’m older - you can too. It is not intuitive though.

Thought it was funny when he said he was joking, ha. He’s still a force at 91.
