There was a time in my life where I had to live in my family with a man (not my dad) who I could not get along with from the start. My mom would react strongly to the few times I spoke out, but really, she too was suffering from that relationship with said person.

My father was never in touch with any feminists, yet he managed to raise me with the core ideas of it and I'm glad he did. Without his advice, I would have never dared to study electrical engineering and essentially, to dream.
