Finally picked up some Mogwai merch. This shirt stood out to me because I served a customer that wore it years ago, and it prompted me to look into what "Mogwai" was, and now it's one of my favourite bands.

Twilight Menu on a DSi XL is incredible. Being able to run both GBA and NDS games natively is something special.

Echoes of the End is pretty good, lovely to look at as well. Combat feels good, especially with the new update, and it's nice to have a bunch of silly abilities like telekinesis for whipping rocks and projectiles right from the start. It's just a solid old-school adventure game.

Expectations for Wreckreation to be this superior successor of the Burnout franchise are unrealistic. You need to realise that the size of the core development team for Wreckreation is about 10% of what Burnout Paradise had, and the fact they were able to deliver something solid is impressive.

That second Kirby Air Riders Direct might've sold me on the game. Sakurai has a knack for incredibly vibrant and dynamic UIs and visuals, and it really compliments the game. It seems like it'll be a game with huge replay value too.

Trying to strike at my game backlog again, starting with The Witcher 3. I've put 16 hours into it so far, and I'm still on Act 1. Having a blast. The writing, characters and voice acting are so good that I've both laughed and cried. Just a really good adventure game that doesn't feel like a chore.
