Finally got around to making a face reference for my custom Lord Captain, Letizia. Like all my other face refs, she looks cursed without hair lol

An illustrated face reference (front, 3/4, and side view) of Letizia Lutgardis von Valancius, my custom protagonist for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. She is a pale human voidborn woman with jet-black hair (although she's depicted as bald here for the sake of the reference) and a few minor augments on her head. A prominent Lichtenberg/lightning scar is along the left side of her body, stopping at the underside of her jaw.
There are three variations of the reference: no makeup, makeup, and a post-Act 3 scarred light makeup version.

I like to give the benefit of the doubt, so maybe that could be it?

It kinda reminds me of those “I don’t go here but…” tags I see sometime. However, at least with those, there’s an air of neutrality (via unfamiliarity/no association) to the relevant fandom.

I think the best way I can describe the feeling is that it feels like a backhanded insult. Sure, the comment praises the ART, but the extra line about hating the subject matter feels like a needless disregard of the artist's passion that went into drawing it.

It's just unnecessary negativity imo

Reference. I softened the green glow into a teal/cyan because I think it complemented her silver palette better.

nah, that's just when I played through it. I'm a latecomer to ESO too and mainly played in 2021-2023 (super sporadically/played in bursts)

ESO: Summerset came out in mid-2018

I've almost exclusively played ESO solo in PvE. You can do most of the overworld+story content on your own just fine. It's mainly dungeons you'll miss out on bc they're built for parties.
(DISCLAIMER: I haven't really played ESO since the Summerset chapter in late 2023. Updates might've changed it.)

TYSM! Hard agree! I've been experimenting w/ expanding my skillset and trying out new brushes + methods, but it's so tiring and at times, sanity-testing😭

Drawing something within your own specialty feels so therapeutic and helps wane the frustration~
