Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock should be in prison. 23K additional deaths on their watch. They both provided poor leadership and ignored their own rules.

On its 75th anniversary, here's a reminder:

The ECHR defends your rights to speak out, to live freely, to be treated fairly.
When politicians attack it, they’re attacking us.
We need to fight back

Nigel Farage is wrong about the European Convention on Human Rights | Good Law Project
The Reform leader is unveiling legislation to leave the ECHR. His arguments are wrong – and that move would be a disaster.

Thanks for your information. My take is to look as his record as a ref. W6, D8, L15 now 16 (after Sunday) this says a lot. On Sunday, it was multiple decisions during the game that stood out. Free kicks, corner kicks etc not given to Everton. We should expect impartial and consistent refereeing.

It would be interesting if you reviewed Pawson's record when in charge of games with Everton. There are multiple incidents which appear that he can't be impartial. Too many to be a coincidence.

Thanks for your analysis. However, it doesn't change the view that the PGMOL are inconsistent even in the same game ☹

Presumably there is not a scale to determine how bad the infringement is? A foul is a foul or does it have to be particular bad to warrant a free kick been given? It is difficult for a goalkeeper to punch the ball clear when he has been pushed, even slightly. Isn't the push just cheating?
October 27, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Yes, I would be interested in your view about the incidents on the keeper at both ends of the pitch. VAR disallowed one goal for an infringement on the keeper impeding him making a save. Everton conceded two goals where the keeper was pushed which also reduce his ability to clear the ball.
October 27, 2025 at 3:08 PM
Yes, Pickford needs to be stronger, but there is a push on him for both goals from the corner kicks. This, even though may be slight, prevented him getting to the ball. There is no difference between this and the infringement for the Everton disallowed goals. A foul is a foul.
October 27, 2025 at 3:02 PM
It's not just the time wasting. What about not giving free kicks, corner kicks etc. OK the disallowed goal was agreed by Moyes because they got in the way of the keeper, but what about the push on Pickford for both goals, it certainly hindered his ability to make a save. These decisions change games

I would be interested in your analysis of the performance of Craig Pawson in today's match Everton v Tottenham.

The waterfront development does look amazing. It will be great and regenerate the whole area. However, from a selfish point of view, it will ruin our view from the Upper South Concourse as we will no longer be able to see the city centre.

“I would gently point out to Nigel Farage that before we left the EU we had a returns agreement with every country in the EU. He told the country it would make no difference if we left. He was wrong about that. These are Farage boats in many senses coming across the channel” 👏

There is an argument to be made that appointments should be made 2-3 weeks in advance rather than the Monday before the next matches.
Following their defeat in #CRYLIV (despite Salah's handball) and Arsenal's victory, Liverpool need a good result.
And here comes Anthony Taylor

Too much wall space wasted were there could be more urinals.
There are too many womens toilets and two few gents in the area we are in the Upper South, so you have to walk further increasing congestion.
October 1, 2025 at 12:32 PM
I did understand your post. Yes you can get back in time but I and many others haven't managed to get back in time.
It takes much longer for us than it did at Goodison. Concourse is too congested. Yes, the toilets are better, but they could be even better.
October 1, 2025 at 12:31 PM
I haven't managed to the toilet at half time without missing the game.

Upper South Block 210. Concourse is packed. If you turn either way, first toilet is female both ways. In fact, in the Upper South, 4 of the 6 available toilets are female. The queues in the gents are longer than Goodison.

Ed Davey, "Nigel Farage helped cause the small boat problems, because before Brexit we had 27 return agreements with the EU"

- maybe call them Brexit boats?

[6/6] #LIVEVE is discussed in the previous post.

But in short, there's not enough to suggest Liverpool are 'helped' when counting injury time. Except for the frankly absurd decision in the derby.
