I love the concept of soulmates because they can be anything. In this case, it's romantic, but it can also be a family bond, like in Frozen, or platonic, like ICO. The idea that some people are truly meant to be together is so beautiful to me.

So I finished watching the anime, and for the most part, it's a great adaptation. The rotoscoped animation style does take some getting used to, but it really grew on me by the end. The actors, especially for Kasuga and Nakamura, were great. +

This is a beautiful sentiment. The very fact that we're alive, breathing, experiencing all the sights and sounds of this world, all our joy and pain.
