I've had a lot of mixed feelings about this show. But god, this episode was just...it was incredible. These themes!!
The way work becomes our identity, having a disability, no longer being able to work, losing purpose/meaning, becoming depressed and lashing out.

This show is a perfect mix of heart and humour. I had a smile on my face several times this episode. 🙂
The only thing that worries me are moments that feel pro-AI, but I know the context of the show is different from the gen-AI of today.
Environment Checker Robot is just 🤣🤣

Yachiyo is relatable. The way she needs to follow schedules, and she has a crisis when something unexpected happens. She's just like me...

This is a beautiful sentiment. The very fact that we're alive, breathing, experiencing all the sights and sounds of this world, all our joy and pain.
Each of us is a miracle. We're all special. Each and every one of us is deserving of love.

It was only 2 pages in the manga!
Two outsiders. An unspoken mutual understanding. Finding companionship in each other. Holding hands.
It's such a shame the whole manga wasn't adapted.

This show is making me want to cry again. 😭
Watatabe exceeded my expectations. There were some episodes/scenes that felt weaker, but as a whole, this is a great series about mental health, suicidal ideation, and the importance of connections that keep us alive. 9/10.
Keep surviving.❤️

This scene was so beautiful...😭
I wish I had someone who would buy me cute hair clips...
Maybe I really am a girl?

I think anyone who has struggles with depression, but still tries to go out and function in society, will know what this feels like. 😢🫂

How I'm spending my New Years Eve: watching Hinako go on a date with her two girlfriends.
My prediction came true! Hehehe. 👩❤️👩

Congrats Watatabe. Not only have you made me care for Shiori, but I'm also almost crying.

On a more serious note, Watatabe is really at its best when it's leaning into its themes of suicidality and the importance of social connections that help keep us alive. Both Shiori and Miko are trying to keep Hinako alive in their own way.

I hope Nakamura can find peace. Despite everything, I have sympathy for her.

I thought maybe it was because I've been more active on social media this month. But I googled "Sound Euphonium Mizore" and somehow I'm on the front page.
I put so much effort into my writing so I'm happy it's getting more views/reads. 🙏

I also loved this. Shiori looking out for Hinako because she knows Hinako will be uncomfortable bathing with others.
*sigh* I really hope Shiori is able to put aside her yokai nature. It would be wonderful if Hinako could have two girlfriends who both genuinely care for her.

...and yet, Shiori insists that the only thing she cares about is that Hinako is herself. Her body is irrelevant as long as she's healthy.
This is SUCH a beautiful sentiment. 😭 It's times like this that make me want to love Shiori. Even though she's driven by selfish desires.
