One thing that bothers me about #Days, that is indicative of the care this show takes, is that set pieces are busted looking af. Walls with scuff marks, banged up doors, chipped paint. Like, y'all know you tape in HD! Easier to fix than the bad writing and acting, and yet! And yet!

I was thinking of her marrying Xander today, while she just sat there with Johnny, doing nothing but wringing her hands about Holly. Where'd her fire go? She's young and capable of causing messy, soapy drama and now she just talks to Johnny and her mom. So disappointing.

I dipped a few months ago on #BeyondtheGates but if they give Greg Vaughan good writing, I might have to dip back in. He was one of a few on Days who rarely phoned it in and he could actually cry, too.

I don't know that I want to see Stephanie have to face her abuser frequently. I don't know if they're going to redeem him or they're going to double down on him being abusive, but it's very gross either way. #Days

It was nuts - Holly was unconscious while the room around her burned, and there was no urgency, no yelling, no emotions, just reciting scripted lines. What a disappointment.

There was a blackout and the college set did nothing. They just drank and went to bed (offscreen). A group of 4+ young people had a prime reason to do wild shit and cause drama, and yet... #Days

Oh so it took 3 full episodes before any of Salem’s first responders got screentime. Another failure of this “story” is having all the characters spread all over town. #Days

It's so bizarre, bc of the power outage, you'd expect police/city/first responders coordination (Jada, JJ, Shawn, Paulina, Javi) and we haven't even heard about any of them...

On a competent show, this blackout would have danger, high stakes and confrontations that blow up long-simmering tensions. On this show we get children playing monopoly…🤦‍♂️
