As it turned out, he was adopted by a family of Goblins, and had lived a peaceful and nomadic life with their tribe until 1571, when their camp was attacked by Gridanian settlers, forcing them to flee to the Hinterlands. Misclix is known to be an expert on Gobbie culture and a lover of cheese.

Fiercely intelligent, she studied politics in Gridania, passing wit flying coours before working for the Mithril Eye. Disillusioned with the Eorzean press circle's servility to rich and monied interests at the expense of the people, she quit her role there and set up an independent newspaper in Mor Dhona: the Silvertear Star, which she now runs.
