I just finished and framed my toucan painting! Midway through this I got really worried about the colors but a few washes over the background safed it from beeing too green.
I used Turner Acryla Gouache, Roman Szmal Aquarell and Schmicke Designer Gouache on Hahnemühle Bamboo Paper.

Saw this lovely Northern Cardinal pair yesterday doing a little courtship feeding. Check out the colors on the female. She’s likely been around some time; cardinals are one of numerous species where older females will start to look more like males.
