It’s one of my favourite weeks in the year … the first round of the NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge.

Well, technically I love the second & final round even more but it’s so good to create something with parameters.

And at least I don’t have horror this time.

Watching the #Skeleton and if I hear the BBC commentator say ‘She needs to relax and let the sled do the work’ one more time I’m going to lose it.

I’ve always loved the Winter Olympics, particularly the curling, but man the #halfpipe is unreal. Absolutely amazing.

Only three teams beat the Seahawks this past season - the Rams, the 49ers and the Bucs. The Rams and 49ers also lost to the Seahawks twice.

The only team the Seahawks could not defeat was Tampa Bay.

Let’s hope we aren’t heading back to the bad old days of one sided #Superbowl games. That’s two in a row now!

Is the Swanston Brasserie Edinburgh’s best kept secret?

Wonderful brunch there this morning with M, D and J.

And the added bonus of seeing the Highland cows afterwards!

Ah, there is nothing in the sporting world annually that compares with the #SixNations

Absolutely love it even though it’s the same for us Scotland supporters every year. Hope for 4 victories but get 2 … 3 if we’re lucky. 😂

Fantastic performance of the musical #LegallyBlonde by the students of Henley College this evening. Rapturous applause ringing round The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham at the end!

Managed to make the #PageAwards quarter finals with my comedy My Untimely Demise. I suspect that’s the end of the road for me but to be in the top 10% of 9115 entries is not bad!

I decided to write a YA novel of my @PAGEawards winning screenplay The War Unseen!

It’s on Amazon at shorturl.at/FPw2y in the UK, rb.gy/5c6mxe in the USA.

Still hoping to see it on the big screen but, in the meantime, the ideal gift for 12 - 15 year old boys!
