Managed to make the #PageAwards quarter finals with my comedy My Untimely Demise. I suspect that’s the end of the road for me but to be in the top 10% of 9115 entries is not bad!

I decided to write a YA novel of my @PAGEawards winning screenplay The War Unseen!

It’s on Amazon at shorturl.at/FPw2y in the UK, rb.gy/5c6mxe in the USA.

Still hoping to see it on the big screen but, in the meantime, the ideal gift for 12 - 15 year old boys!

An amazing number of roses springing up in our garden this weekend. Phone camera doesn’t do it justice!

Timelapse of tonight’s sunset over Aylesbury Vale in Buckinghamshire (UK). Doesn’t come out as well as I would have liked. Looked great through my eyes though!

We saw a ‘Circumscribed Halo’ on our walk around Coombe Hill and Chequers this morning. A rare occurrence apparently. Like a rainbow round the sun. Amazing!

Having given up social media for lent it’s very tempting to continue that indefinitely.

I have succumbed however!

Amazed at the blossom on our apple trees this year. In 25 years I don’t recall it being so extensive! Looking forward to a bountiful harvest … hopefully.

Managed to do that thing in the night where you grip the quilt hard to bring it up on your shoulder but your grip fails and your momentum continues and you punch yourself in the head. 😂

Well, here I am on Bluesky.

Looking to move from X or Twitter or Ads_and_Vitriol_R_Us ... however you want to term it these days.

It will be a slow migration over I suspect but I'm looking forward it.
