So #believeinfilm peeps. I have 4 colour films needing development, and the Bellini C41 Kit which was made up about 6 months ago. How do I test if chemicals are ok to be used? I often see people cutting bits of film off and testing chemicals on that. How do I know if they are ok? #filmphotography

A brief walk through Edinburgh earlier. I did have my Contax G2 with me but took similar photos on my iPhone. When I get round to developing, I can see how they compare.

Hey there #believeinfilm snappers. Who/which lab do you use for C41 processing in the UK? I’m never getting round to doing home development and about time I called time in expired chems and just paid a lab….

Two weeks away from social media while on holiday in Cornwall with the family. Between building sandcastles and learning to 🏄‍♂️ surf, only film used was instax. I did get a few minutes to exercise the iPhone though and converted to ‘longexposure’ this is looking across to St Ives from Hayle #cornwall

It’s mine! Been sat on the fence about this for a while. Listened to the Sunny16Podcast and decided to make the effort! Looking forward to receiving it 🙂
There is one lonely opaque Zine sitting in our Ko-fi, who would like to make this lonely zine happy and re-home it.

It doesn't need a lot of looking after, it just needs a bit of love and occasionally looked it.

After listening to episode 355 of the sunny16podcast and the discussion of the luggage scanners at @manchesterairport.bsky.social being the new CT scanners. This accounts for these results 12 months ago following a trip to Verona. I had/have no idea what the new scanners looked like. #believeinfilm

… relaxing start to Thursday morning. Catching up with Black & White issue 283 from late 2023! Still have all the intervening ones from then until now in their wrapper. The only issue with reading them so slowly is missing exhibitions advertised in the ‘In The Frame’ section.

Tuesday morning after the school run, just downloaded the 65 x 24 camera app. A refreshingly simple camera app from @heliographe.bsky.social

Morning coffee, on my own, again.

Time to retire this already secondhand developing tank. It’s already leaked on inversion and I’m tired of the films coming loose out of the reel. The real opens out in the film sticks together thankfully it’s awhile since that’s happened but time to get rid after a very near miss #believeinfilm

#believeinfilm What could cause this? Developed using the Bellini C41 kit the film still has that milky look to its it looks like one film has developed better than the others but it’s still not right. I believe I’ve followed the instructions well.

Going through all the accounts I followed on Twitter and deleting them was tough. wWhat was surprising was viewing when most had last posted? A good 50% had not posted for 2-3 years. The account will remain only for contacting customer services of the second rate service providers that use it.

Last week I was in Glasgow briefly. I couldn’t resist a quick trip on the new subway trains which now serve the ‘clockwork orange’. The trains look futuristic to me, and are no longer orange! The trains are much smaller than the underground in London, historically Scottish people were much shorter!

I remember when EASTERN BLOC was simply a record shop called EASTERN BLOC RECORDS, near the other famous Manchester Record store, ‘Vinyl Exchange’. I spent hours in these shops in my younger days looking for any illusive dance records on CD Single or 12” #Manchester
