So far I have spent time lusting after a 4x5 camera, don't know why as I don't use my 'pinsta' camera nearly enough, but I have found the pictured I developed in camera on my desk. It looks like some have degraded over time too. In fact, I'll not be out with a camera until mid Jan 26'.

I really must invest in a 35mm film retriever to save butchering the film canister. That and one day I’m blatantly going to chop a finger off doing so.

Couldn’t resist looking this up. Sheer comedy …

I’ve never covered mine either, and never knowingly had light leaks. Lots of questionable photographs, but I put that down to the user! Example-

A brief walk through Edinburgh earlier. I did have my Contax G2 with me but took similar photos on my iPhone. When I get round to developing, I can see how they compare.

Two weeks away from social media while on holiday in Cornwall with the family. Between building sandcastles and learning to 🏄‍♂️ surf, only film used was instax. I did get a few minutes to exercise the iPhone though and converted to ‘longexposure’ this is looking across to St Ives from Hayle #cornwall

A photo for the new to me #BlueskyArtShow with the theme of #Sideways #Photography

Using the long exposure function of the iphone14 a blue train passes in front of the camera while a Grand Central sits in Platform 4 at York, UK.

Ooops 📸

I do have a Yashica 124G, but I can use this with less serious stuff, that’s my excuse!

Interlude for lunch at the seaside. Sky drama added completely by Apple iPhone 14 camera, no tweaking whatsoever.

After missing Lucca 🇮🇹 last year can’t wait for Chelmsford & yet-to-get tickets for Manchester.

This was my result from Manchester in April 2024! I never got them hand checked. Frustratingly there was a young Asian/Japanese couple behind my wife and I who caused a commotion getting theirs hand checked. Well I say they did, I mean the security people caused the commotion. It can’t be that hard.

Taken 5 years ago now!

After listening to episode 355 of the sunny16podcast and the discussion of the luggage scanners at @manchesterairport.bsky.social being the new CT scanners. This accounts for these results 12 months ago following a trip to Verona. I had/have no idea what the new scanners looked like. #believeinfilm

… relaxing start to Thursday morning. Catching up with Black & White issue 283 from late 2023! Still have all the intervening ones from then until now in their wrapper. The only issue with reading them so slowly is missing exhibitions advertised in the ‘In The Frame’ section.

In fairness, it only says protest could happen here, and the same for all UK sites…

Tuesday morning after the school run, just downloaded the 65 x 24 camera app. A refreshingly simple camera app from @heliographe.bsky.social

Morning coffee, on my own, again.

Just #blueskymonday , that is all.

Time to retire this already secondhand developing tank. It’s already leaked on inversion and I’m tired of the films coming loose out of the reel. The real opens out in the film sticks together thankfully it’s awhile since that’s happened but time to get rid after a very near miss #believeinfilm

Film will likely be a couple of years old, maybe 4-5 for what looks like it’s been through my lomo sprocket rocket. Also noticed the lomo 200 is a slide/X-Pro so not sure what effect that would have? And without completely manhandling before dry which one of those is the lomo? The clearest is Kodak

#believeinfilm What could cause this? Developed using the Bellini C41 kit the film still has that milky look to its it looks like one film has developed better than the others but it’s still not right. I believe I’ve followed the instructions well.

Going through all the accounts I followed on Twitter and deleting them was tough. wWhat was surprising was viewing when most had last posted? A good 50% had not posted for 2-3 years. The account will remain only for contacting customer services of the second rate service providers that use it.

You can turn them off. I don’t need this or any gov. sending me messages. I’m a grown adult with a brain of my own, and can decide if it’s sensible to go outside or not. It won’t be long before this technology is used for curfews!

I remember seeing these things when I was out that way, and wondering how desperate you must have to be to have a mini to have done this to it!

Last week I was in Glasgow briefly. I couldn’t resist a quick trip on the new subway trains which now serve the ‘clockwork orange’. The trains look futuristic to me, and are no longer orange! The trains are much smaller than the underground in London, historically Scottish people were much shorter!
