Do NOT get me started on the status of college football and all these crazy, BS conferences. If I was College FB Czar, I'd have us all back to regional-focused leagues with 10-12 members and a 16-team playoff.
About a week after severely banging up my left shin to avoid being attacked by 4 loose dogs, I was able to log my scheduled 20-mile run today. So, marathon training chugs along. #RunChat
Got a running brag? Let's hear about something positive that's happened in your running world recently.
Digestible chunks is a great way to handle tough runs. #RunChat
I break into segments: next street, next sign, next fence post. Whatever I need to keep my body moving forward
A6: If at all possible, I try to zone out and focus on just moving. #RunChat
#RunChat Q6: What a mental trick you do when you need a boost during a tough run?
A5: I don't listen to music while running, but there's any number of songs I could hear every time I go for a run. #RunChat
#RunChat Q5: What's a song you could listen to on every run?
Hopefully you hit 650 with ease and can make that stretch goal. #RunChat
Dare I ask what that milestone number is? #RunChat
A4: The same goal as always Pinky, try to BQ and get into the Boston Marathon. My next attempt is the Valencia Marathon on December 7th. #RunChat
#RunChat Q4: What running goals do you have left in 2025?
A3: I particularly enjoy spring/fall because of cooler temps, especially in the morning. #RunChat
#RunChat Q3: What's your favorite time of the year to run?
A2: So far, the worst injury is the one I'm currently nursing, which is a bruised and cut up left shin. I got it from jumping into a dumpster/trailer full of wood and rebar to avoid 4 loose dogs. #RunChat
#RunChat Q2: What's the worst injury you've had and what did you do to overcome it?
A1: I started running in 2018, at 40yo. #RunChat
Let's have a #RunChat! Let's kick off with something simple for Q1: What year did you start running?
I'm not that invested in Tech football, so not upset about the loss. However, it also shows how different the Tech offense is when their QB1 is out vs. Will Hammond in there. I'm sure the B12 will beat up on each other a lot over the course of the season.
So many evangelicals believe they're saved because they follow the rules not because of God's grace, so they expect others to do the same.
Your Sun Devils played well and had a great game plan to face the Tech offense.
Thanks for confirming that I don't need to create an account on Threads. I know it was real popular a bit ago to shit there from Twitter, but I resisted. I'm glad that I didn't make the move, and it seems like I don't need to.
WOW! I'm a #Braves fan, so I'm not following the Giants managerial search at all. However, this is not the hire I would've expected.
Holy crap!
My favorite part about this is the camera work. Absolutely no idea where the ball is, like a guy with a flip phone trying to take a picture of Mars.
Shohei Ohtani this is just stupid...
It looks like they'll get to enjoy peak leaf peeping, too.
Thank you for sharing my fundraising page, Krista. It means a lot to have friends share info about my fundraising and the small part I try to do making the world a better place.
As an FYI, this is by FAR my biggest struggle with running right now. I've ALWAYS felt safe running in my cities, until moving to my current home. Right now, I'm so flipping paranoid about unleashed/stray dogs that it's messing with my mental health. #RunChat
100% agree about listening. I'm struggling with that right now and my goal to run every street in town. Given my most recent incident with unleashed dogs, I should give up on that objective. Unfortunately, I'm struggling to accept that decision.
