Hello to everyone who recently followed along! (and also to those who've been here a while) I'm Steve and I'm a hobbyist wildlife photographer in eastern Canada. I post a new wildlife photo every day. I hope you enjoy the photos, and don't be shy to engage if you see something you like!

This was the first time I've ever seen a White-breasted Nuthatch in our yard (and there were two!). Always lots of Reds, but never their paler cousins. Very exciting!

I'm just a hobbyist photographer, but I do contribute to a number of stock photo agencies. And as a lawyer, my favourite stock photo sale is one of the Supreme Court of Canada building illustrating an article in the Canadian Bar Association's national magazine.

Joining in the #BirdOfTheDay fun this morning. The theme today is #swans.

I have had exactly one encounter with wild swans. In 2018 a wayward pair of Mute Swans somehow got turned around and found themselves in southern New Brunswick for a few days. I found them on a beautiful morning.
