In July we're celebrating life-saving achievements of alumna Prof Freda Stevenson (Biochemistry, 1961) who showed antibodies can be used to treat cancer cells, creating vaccine that uses DNA to increase immunity to cancers and found way to use genes to better understand subsets of leukaemia #science
