Goregous, and surprisingly well maintained. Do I get Adriatic Sea vibes?
It's ok i guess, I see it like a third category in general creation: there's analogic, digital, and now AI. Us humans will always lurk around.
Majestic. It’s amazing how every time I think “dis too good to be AI” and zoom in to check, I find it’s done by a great human artist.
A long time. Always.
Hahh can u believe the šarm?? Deserving of digital portraitry
I can confirm the magic is real in Triglavski park
Ufffff!
Today on Digital Foundry, we're hands-on with the phenomenal Half-Life 2 RTX demo, playing through the Ravenholm level with an added bonus - a side-by-side playthrough on the 2004 original launch code. youtu.be/QHRS0TO89UI

Warcraft 2 blew me tf away
how beautiful 🥺
Sure! There's many tricks for balancing these compositions. First ones to consider are that the human eye tends to go first to where there's faces, details and contrast (either of color or value)
You'll want your creatures to stand out so they should be the most contrasted and detailed elements here
Try adding fog somehow, so the further the objects, the more they blend with the color of the background. It also will look nice and coherent since there's already mist on the ground :P
It's a nice environment. From this camera angle things work differently tho, you have a problem with contrast: the houses, trees and objects in the background have very visible edges against the sky n the mist on the ground. This will compete with your creatures and make them difficult to stand out
Part of the reason why I joined this platform was to share the progress of my current project, but I found myself mostly building systems, and realizing that's not very sexy material to share...

I thought you were gonna share a 2nd game in progress when you said 2 wishlists 🤯
In terms of design and writing (and also production) I think Tom Francis (@pentadact.com) got many things right, and his ongoing exploration and analysis of things that work in games are really worth the attention. Blog and YT channel are very rich in content, and of course, his games. Gems.
I was gonna suggest this. His thoughts are very interesting and insightful. Smart guy and I think he started very young so he has a looot of research and experience.
I'm with you bruh. New in programming so I suck at it, cannot help tech-wise, but about crafting the feeling of the gaming experience, I have some xp & many inspirations.

I'll start with this one coz it's the most recent one I watched. It's more useful than it seems:
