Third-country deportations violate international human rights law and put lives at risk, but the Trump administration has made it a core tactic of its anti-immigrant agenda.

Use our form to contact your Senators now and urge them to hold Trump accountable for his third-country deportation program.
Stop Third Country Deportations - Stop AAPI Hate
The U.S. is deporting hundreds of immigrants to Central America and Africa — stranding vulnerable people in countries they have never been to — often without passports, phones, language access, and legal counsel.

And this isn't the first time Trump wasted millions of dollars to get other governments to do his dirty work. He's already deported Asian immigrants to South Sudan, Costa Rica, and Panama too.

On Monday, ICE disappeared a group of Vietnamese, Filipino, and Cambodian immigrants to Eswatini — a nation notorious for its use of solitary confinement and other inhumane tactics.

Over 160 people may be deported there as part of the deal.

As ICE continues to have one its deadliest years in recorded history, we cannot normalize or become desensitized to this news. These deaths — often caused by medical neglect and other horrific practices in ICE's facilities — are preventable, and our leaders must do more to put an end to them.

We're heartbroken over the death of Huabing Xie — a Chinese immigrant who suffered a fatal seizure at an ICE facility in Imperial Valley, California. Reports from Detention Watch Network show that Xie is one of at least 20 immigrants who've died in ICE custody since Trump's inauguration. 🧵⬇️
Another immigrant dies in ICE custody in California, this time in the Imperial Valley
Two deaths of immigrants in ICE custody have been reported in California in two weeks.

From racist stereotypes to full-blown conspiracy theories, Trump's attacks on the H-1B visa program will only exacerbate the discrimination that South Asian workers face. Check out co-founder Manjusha Kulkarni's interview about what Trump's anti-immigrant agenda means for South Asian communities.
Trump’s $100K H-1B Fee Puts A Bigger Target On South Asian Workers
Trump’s $100K H-1B fee could reshape America’s workforce, putting a bigger target on South Asian workers as hate surges threaten careers and innovation.

This problem is bigger than Ohio. Recently, Florida, Texas, Georgia, and other states have passed similar laws, criminalizing Chinese home ownership and fueling racial profiling against Asians. With our futures on the line, we must all continue to defend our right to call the U.S. home.

Let’s be clear: Housing discrimination will not make Ohio – or any other state – a safer place to live. All this legislation will do is punish ordinary people for the actions of foreign governments that they have zero control over.

These land bans harm Chinese people and families who are simply trying to build lives in America. They violate the civil rights guaranteed to everyone in the U.S., regardless of citizenship. Remember: Equal protection for all is a core American value that has historically distinguished this nation.

Remember: Many of these children came to America to flee violence, persecution, or extreme poverty. If ICE isn’t willing to draw the line at vulnerable children, then no one is safe.

ICE is essentially coercing kids to waive their rights and deport themselves by dangling cash and threatening to arrest their families. This isn’t policy, it’s cruelty.
ICE Targets Unaccompanied Immigrant Children, Offering $2,500 Payment for Deportation
ICE confirmed its plan to pay unaccompanied immigrant children in exchange for their agreement to be deported.

Following decades of racist policies that shut out Asian immigrants, the Immigration Act of 1965 gave millions of people the chance to move to the U.S. for the first time. People like our co-founder, Manjusha Kulkarni.

On this day in 1965, President Johnson signed the Hart-Celler Act. It ended the racist “immigration quotas” that kept Asian immigrants out, and it opened the door for millions of people around the world to call the U.S. home. People like me.

The Constitution is clear: Everyone in the U.S. — regardless of citizenship status — has a right to free speech. No president can take that away from us.

A federal judge is putting the Trump regime under fire for its unlawful attacks on pro-Palestinian student protestors — including Korean immigrant Yunseo Chung, Indian immigrant Badar Khan Suri, and several other people of color.
Judge Rules Trump Unlawfully Targeted Noncitizens Over Pro-Palestinian Speech
In a blistering opinion, a federal judge in Boston said the Trump administration used the threat of deportations to systematically intimidate certain campus demonstrators into silence.

And that's not all. Should the Supreme Court side with the Trump administration against birthright citizenship, people of color, including Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, will suffer and our communities will be stripped of political power for generations to come.

If Trump gets his way, many U.S. born children will be denied their constitutional right to U.S. citizenship and by extension — public education, healthcare assistance, and political representation. Just because of their parents' immigration status.

After several federal judges blocked his executive order on birthright citizenship from taking effect, Trump is now pushing the Supreme Court to let him sidestep the Fourteenth Amendment and strip thousands of their constitutional rights.

Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda aims to diminish Asian communities in size and power – and the attack on H-1B visas is just the latest move to threaten our safety and our very existence in this country.
stopaapihate.org
From Day 1, Trump has been fighting to keep Asians out of the U.S. by attacking our most common pathways to building lives in America — restricting birthright citizenship, revoking student visas, and now imposing an extreme fee for H-1B applicants.
stopaapihate.org
The Trump regime’s attack on H-1B visas isn’t truly about protecting American jobs. It’s about making America hostile to anyone who isn’t white and wealthy — no matter the cost.
