The number of households with utility debt has skyrocketed, with Black & Asian households owing the most ($900) in overdue balances.

You shouldn’t go into debt just for heating your home or using electricity, but this is the reality under this administration.
Americans are facing power shutoffs and mounting debt as energy costs surge
Past-due balances are becoming a reality for many U.S. households as they struggle to keep up with costlier utility bills.

Citizenship applications, asylum claims, and visas are being halted. Immigrant families following the rules are being torn apart.

It was never about doing it ‘the right way.’ It was about shutting out immigrants from the start.

1 in 12 Asian Americans is chronically infected with hepatitis B — one of the greatest racial health disparities in the United States.

That’s why RFK Jr.’s proposed changes to recommend or delay the vaccine for babies is dangerous.

When you cut SNAP or Medicaid, you make it harder for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders to thrive.

The President repeatedly promised that energy bills would be “cut in half” within a year, yet electricity prices have surged 11% since January 2025. The math isn’t mathing.
More Americans are getting their power shut off, as unpaid bills pile up
Average electricity costs have risen 11 percent since January, more than three times the rate of inflation.

Afghan refugees are being collectively punished for the actions of one individual.

An indiscriminate visa ban endangers our allies who risked their lives supporting military and diplomatic missions in Afghanistan. It is unconscionable.

The order effectively suspends the special immigration program for Afghans who helped the United States during its 20-year-long occupation of their home country.

Lā Kūʻokoʻa reminds us that Hawaiʻi was once an independent nation recognized around the world.

Today, we recognize the collective power of the Native Hawaiian community and honor how that legacy has shaped the Hawaiʻi we know today.

We must condemn all threats of political violence, especially when they come from someone who has incited a violent attack on the Capitol.

This is what the administration does—blame immigrants for everything when they can’t keep their own promise to lower costs.

If only they put that same energy to improving people’s lives.

What a joke.

Inflation is up.
Prices are up.
Unemployment is up.
People can’t afford groceries or health care.

The economy is about as “golden” as the fake gold in the White House.

Half of all immigrants feel less safe since Trump took office—citizens and noncitizens alike.

This administration has proven over and over; if you are an immigrant, they do not want you here.

Across the country, Asian-owned businesses have been forced to raise prices by up to 50% thanks to Trump’s tariffs.
