Trump thinks he can use his government shutdown to destroy Oregon's clean energy future, weaken the grid, and drive up costs for consumers. These cuts are political retaliation. They ignore the role of Congress, deny climate change, cost jobs, and punish Oregonians. Don't stop sharing.

Late tonight, a federal judge issued a sweeping new order prohibiting the president from deploying any National Guard forces—from any state or DC—to Oregon.

The president cannot keep playing whack-a-mole with different states’ Guard units to get around court orders and the rule of law.

A federal judge in Portland just granted the State of Oregon & City of Portland’s request for a Temporary Restraining Order to block the Trump administration from sending the National Guard to Portland. That’s good news. Portland doesn’t need or want the military on our streets or in our communities
