A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.
The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.
Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.

Trump, Hegseth, and Republicans think their meltdown shows strength, but it’s the opposite. They’re showcasing decorated Democratic veterans like Mark Kelly who make them look small and petty. They should pay more attention to lowering grocery prices than ridiculous threats of court-martialing.

Setting aside for a second the lunacy and authoritarianism surrounding the Trump/Hegseth threat to court martial Mark Kelly, it is also politically moronic. No military court or jury would uphold this, and you only do Kelly a tremendous favor by making him more popular than ever.

Turns out the $10k bonus checks, that Ice Barbie handed out to TSA agents at a Las Vegas photo-op, were not real checks at all, but simply a promissory note for a future direct deposit. If I were those TSA agents, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that money.
