I’ve never done pearler art before, so last night I decided to try my hand and dig into some Digimon nostalgia. VERY happy with how this turned out! I’ll have this guy along with some other pieces available at my table at Cosplay, Crossplay, and Cocktails this weekend!

One thing I do genuinely find myself hurting for post JoAnns closing is a resource for fleece. All I’ve been finding both online and in pop ups locally are small if they have any or the quality just isn’t there. Also missing JoAnns when it comes to flannel for the same reason.

It’s the first time in YEARS that ALL of my crafting and sewing stuff is in one spot. It’s almost impossible to convey the sheer undertaking that this project has been, but I did my damndest.

Even with some work to do still, I am THRILLED.

You do not have to be LGBTQIA+ to explore gender expression.

Cisgender and/or straight people should absolutely explore the ways in which they portray and define their genders for themselves. Breaking the ‘norm’ and making your own definition is a HUMAN experience.

Since I got back from Atlanta, the bulk of my studio time has been spent doing some serious organizing and actually getting the new space properly settled. I have done a BIT of sewing work, though.
