That’s a wrap on DK Bananza. It was good and mostly got better as it went on. The best stuff is definitely toward the back end. But I found it somewhat bloated and the challenge level was never near satisfying. 7.5/10

Verizon sent me an email and direct mailer offering me $25/mo off my FiOS bill for a year. I just had to call to accept it. I figured they'd try to upsell me on the call. But when I called, I just said yes to a robot prompt and it applied the offer.

Also very cool thing about this series is that in addition to the typical diary entries from major players and random adults, it includes diary entries from children/teens of the era which are FASCINATING, especially the kid who later becomes a fifer in an American militia unit.

The "Common People" episode in the latest season of Black Mirror is basically "What if technocrats enshittified your spouse?" and oh boy it was TERRIFYING.

It looks like a Zelda movie so that's good. And Wes Ball's Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was pretty dope, so I'm pretty hopeful that this flick turns out good!
