happy starlight! here's yet another fic of steph informing artoirel that something he's never really thought about is cruel. there's discussion of a declawed cat but things will get better for her and it also turns into a starlight fic!

a snippet from the linked fic. it reads: Artoirel very gingerly sits on the floor. He cleans enough that it shouldn't get his slacks dirty, but it still feels strange to do. He holds the dish up to Odette's head to make it a little easier to eat. She starts nibbling at the stringy meat, purring louder as Steph pets her, until he makes the mistake of trying to pet her paw. Odette yowls. She jumps off the ottoman and slides a bit on the hardwood floor. The cat ducks behind Artoirel and hisses with her whole face, purring still, but clearly not in the mood to play.

happy thursday! today i bring you a piece i have been working on with my designs of the demon sisters. more notes in the alt text. please schemers table please let us have more time with wick and tyranny's weird weird families please please please please please-
a picture of four demon women in a hallway, lit by two cold blue arcane lights. all of them wear a variant of an aspirant uniform, marked with the same colors and symbols associated with House Halovar and the Candescent Creed. On the far left is Agony, a blue-skinned demon with short pointy horns and teal glasses. she is by far the shortest. Her dress is simple. She shyly faces away from the camera, her back to the viewer and gaze off-screen. Next to her is Cruelty, the second-oldest and third-tallest sister. Her skin is a beautiful deep green, speckled with red, a color that pops with her ruby red lipstick. Her outfit is much more revealing, with a shorter hemline, bare shoulders, and a chest window. Her hooked silver horns stand out against her brown hair, elegantly braided and tied with a bow. Her hair is notably almost entirely uncovered, unlike the rest of her sisters. To Cruelty's right is the eldest and tallest sister by far, Emnity. Her skin is a deep burgundy, broken up in places with a searing red, like it is just plates of rock floating on lava. There are places on Emnity's cheeks where the burgundy pieces are gone and the bright red is speckled with black. Her long ram horns curl back behind her. Her outfit is the most conservative, straight lines and long hems with no ruffles to be seen. A piece at the neckline makes it look like priest's attire. Finally, on the far right is Tyranny, a player character in campaign 4 of Critical Role played by Whitney Moore. She is bubblegum pink, with horns that curl up and back, and her dress is a nightmare of ruffles (can confirm as the artist that drew them). She is sitting on the ground with her arms looped around her knee.

Zebani had her place; in the basement, with the rest of her house's skeletons. a screenshot of a message from my good friend reading me for filth. it reads: [said with all the love in my heart while maintaining a perfect poker face]: interesting. so you've become instantly attached to an older sibling character who was promised a place of pride within their family only to be, at least from their perspective, usurped from that position by their sibling and now feels jaded about the world and unable to reclaim their natural sense of belonging in it. very interesting. there is no precedent for this. and also she's gay.
