think a lot of penn state fans decided in 2015 that they hated james and were desperate for the first chance to move on from him, and they got their wish, and that required putting a lot of faith in an AD who already bungled his second-biggest program's coaching situation, and now we're here

No. But that's not fair to Sitake. It could work! If we're grading it purely on a Kraft scale: I don't get it. It's a lot of faith in the PSU brand.

I do not know how it would work in terms of getting regional talent for someone who has zero connection to the area but that's maybe why you keep Terry and co.
