We can however make light of people forgetting the parking brake when they park their hop-on swim-off bus for the night.

I was rolling down a slope here, doing 35km in a 30 limit, bus passed me, to immediately stop at the bus stop near the bottom..... braking hard enough that the folk stood waiting to get off had to hang on tight,

I wonder how many of the lives lost recently when big rigs ploughed into stopped traffic similar systems to Volvo's auto emergency braking might have saved. Might not totally avoif the collision, but it would be vastly reduced in severiy.
