The terrible ref didn't help. How did gabriel stay on the pitch after that tackle? He booked people for dissent but not for fouls.

Not a hope in hell. He looks lost & unhappy. He'll end up at the back of the arsenal medal line and get a loan move to Fulham in the summer.

Us too. Had power all day. New fence has fallen over, but we can fix that. Not sure we could cope with another stormy night though.

The department have had to limit their emergency help to cope with all the problems in the Dordogne. Friends up the hill have no power and there's a mast down so still no mobile signal. And a hell of a lot of water.

It's odd to think that at the height of summer, I'll be able to walk across that bit of the river. It all seems a long way away.

Tbh we can't complain when I look at footage from Portugal. It is very strange not having a phone signal and the power's out up the hill. Orange are sending out messages that the signal will be restored on sunday or monday.
