GDC? Nah. #Gamescom gets it done. Our SEA/Asia devs can't afford the trip, US is a mess, and SF conventions are hell. We're where the work gets done, not just showing face and dropping $30 on a drink.
GDC has said that leading games industry companies who choose to skip the event are sending a message to developers that they “don’t care”.
