Detroit is amazing. I used to live downtown and bike everywhere. Used to love to take a ride to Belle Isle with a good book, sit along the river and watch the ships.

I could bike there from my house. Just not with the kids, too much traffic. There used to be places to park for free, but not anymore. I live in Beech Grove.

We can federally fund mental hospitals that Reagan defunded as reprogramming centers. I never thought homeless shelters, and jail was a good replacement for them.
