Hestavaðsfoss, a small but wide multi-tiered waterfall on the Skógá River in South Iceland, spills over dark basalt ledges into swirling turquoise pools. Moss-covered rocks break up the flow, and the river bends gently through a bright green valley framed by rolling hills under a partly cloudy sky. The scene is peaceful and open, just a short distance upstream from the far more famous Skógafoss.

From the ground all I could see was fog. Got the drone up and saw the setting sun, mountains, and the odd iceberg in the lagoon behind. Managed to crash land my drone in the soft sand, but it survived!
