Edith and Arlene are forces of nature, and if they ran the departments of education and justice, we’d be in better shape, for sure. If you can donate something to their incredible project teaching Aristotle to students in prison, please do - the money will be so well spent. Thank you!
Want to support teaching of ancient ethics in prisons? Here's a blog with a link to JustGiving. £10 buys course material for 4 prisoners. @durhamclassics.bsky.social edithorial.blogspot.com/2026/02/anci...

For some reason as I glance at the news headlines today, I am thinking of the Greek goddess of retribution, Nemesis. Bonus fact: sometimes she takes on the form of a goose (which is just another reason to be cautious around geese) 🪿

I've written a book about a 14 year old boy - and though I hope 14 year olds will enjoy it, it's really for everybody.
I wanted to write something purely funny, and I think I might love it more than anything I've ever written before.
It's out in August.

#WaitingForTheOut on @bbciplayer.bsky.social is by far the best tv drama I’ve seen in a long time: writing, production and acting are all five star. A best supporting actor for #StephenWight surely awaits?
