It's oddly reassuring. If it takes this much energy to maintain hate, then it indicates that the natural state of humans is not hate. It might not be love, but it's probably at least neutral, and that's worth celebrating.

On the other side of this: do not blame yourself for failing to read someone’s mind after something like this happens.
Let go of that guilt. There was nothing you could have done.
Part of being a mature adult is accepting that you cannot read minds or expect someone else to read yours. (5/5)
