What is wrong with Bluesky at present? I've seen several complaints and I fail to understand what you're on about. My TL is much the same as usual. I do, fairly carefully, curate the people I follow, but I see no aggravation. Please exxplain. (Or stop whingeing.)

It might help if all development on flood plains was stopped, and builders instructed to place waste water management at the top of their steps to construction.

That particular ex-civil servant has a rose-tinted view of local newspapers. Very few of them would try to investigate even blindingly obvious fraud. Someone could walk down a high street with a placard proclaiming that they were a fraudster, and no local newspaper would take a blind bit of notice.

I definitely have a leak in the porch roof. I’ve noticed it before but it doesn’t happen every time it rains hard. But this lot has certainly got through. #Buggrit 😬

Much of the problem lies in the fact that most Americans, including Trump, Hegseth & the Republicans in Congress think “Europe” is a country that should be more American and needs to be lectured on, or bullied into, becoming so. #bbcpm

I would think there are enough nutters out there, whatever their motivations, who view Prince Harry as a newsworthy, target, that he should probably have high security, whether we like it or not. #bbcpm

While attending an outpatient's appointment today, a healthcare worker interrupted the consultation, bearing a box of masks, saying that “Matron” had said they should be worn by everyone. I was charmed by the idea that a community hospital had a matron. (The consultant dismissed the idea, btw.)
