To be fair, since the reveal of Virtual Boy NSO, I've become 100% convinced DS NSO classics will happen at some point down the line. Albeit with them enforcing a second screen accessory. Probably. Though this I would actually buy, even if the Wii U proved this wouldn't be necessary.

Slightly related: I do hope I get the chance to play Mass Attack and Rainbow Curse at some point in the future. HAL please port Rainbow Curse. It deserves to escape Wii U jail for the OST alone.

I know this is no (confirmed) Mission Statement for Air Riders... but I still hope they cram as many of them in as they can, even if some of them are paid DLC. Because I would buy all of them in a heartbeat.

It was very, very clearly made with the 25th anniversary in mind, even if it came out a year later. No matter how old the game was, how popular or critically reclaimed, every single mainline entry gots its own representative. (And then there is also Bandana Waddle Dee as an anomaly.)

Even though I personally rank it very low in terms of my favourites from the Main Kirby series, I very much appreciate what Star Allies set out to do: A love letter to all that came before, and a final sendoff for the purely 2D era of Kirby. (Even if it was limited to the main series.)
