The amount of times I just get snapped back to the fact that this country is so fucking dystopian right now…..it’s so jarring. I go back to living my life and then BAM anti-lgbtq, defunding Medicaid/Medicare, funding a genocide, etc. etc. etc. I hate it here.

I keep having this recurring sentiment being reiterated through out right wing spaces saying “You are not owed anyone else’s time or work.”

I find the word “woke” fascinating in terms of use when it comes to right wing individuals. Usually when they speak of a “woke mind virus” or being “woke” it seems to make people feel bad for caring about more than just their chosen people. It’s almost as if they have no capability of empathy.
