@explodingarrow.bsky.social picked perhaps my silliest pitch, in which I beg hard working artists to listen to my One Easy Trick to Not Draw Batman on a 15-Foot Horse.

If you want to find out what the hell that means, you'll have to back the project and get the issue in your hot little hands.

This is what comics does to you, I don't recommend them

I know I'm not Alone alone bc fandom, but it does feel like living on a deserted island to know in my heart of hearts that I would like to see the psychological aftermath of Floyd Lawton actually getting dicked down by a man in a cat costume after years of heteroperformative flirting with him

I'm being so genuine right now but there's one thing that makes me tumblr level yaoi deranged and it's whatever Catman and Deadshot have going on whenever they're both in the Secret Six.

For a moment there I thought we'd a new development there but then Secret Six (2025) did not get renewed

I'm gonna be in Comics Courier #3!! And I'm STOKED about it

It's just... there is a limit to the number of self-stitched projects you can hang on your walls before it would make everyone you know go "👀 you ok mate," and I don't want to find it.

(She said, 40k-plus stitches and not even 75% of the way into a 2-foot wide accurate cross stitch MTA map)

I've had them set aside to sell for charity for literal years (there are simply way more patterns that make me go "Ooh that looks fun to work on" than "Ooh I want to put that up in my apartment") so the craft fair is real kismet! So thank YOU for making it such an easy process!

Just dropped these three cross stitch projects in the mail to be sold at the Craft Fair! 🤞hopefully they get there in time 🤞
A hoop-framed cross stitch of Catwoman (Batman Returns Version) with magenta text MEOW, and a yellow background. A cross stitch tapestry of a astronaut helmet (with the astronaut's skull inside) nestled at the bottom of an alien tree, overgrown with plants and mushrooms. A cross stitch and beads tapestry of a Cool Sword, decorated with pink lilies and a splash of purple color.

I chatted with editor Chris Conroy about DC's first three Absolute trades for Publisher's Weekly!

My favorite thing Conroy said? He thinks superhero comics art is at a "generational" turning point — and Absolute was DC's attempt to get ahead of the wave. www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/...
DC Comics Sees An ‘Absolute’ Success
The comics giant has three new books featuring familiar superheroes on the shelves this month—but the origin stories within are anything but familiar. DC executive editor Chris Conroy explains why the...

@prisonculture.bsky.social Hello! Hope I'm not pestering: If I filled out the form to donate crafts, should I just toss them in the mail? Or are you folks vetting donations and I should standby for approval? Either way, thanks so much for organizing this!

If you were upset about what Vox did to Polygon, you should be extra upset about Eater!!! They couldn't even use the money they made off our asses to keep these wonderful, talented journalists on staff. Please donate if you can!!!

Something very very weird happened during the Hugos award ceremony... It's been on my mind for days, and so I wrote this blog: "When People Giggle at Your Name, or the 2025 Hugo Awards Incident"
