Is Scotland safe for children? Next week Scottish Parliament will decide on call for whistleblowing office so concerns about child abuse can be dealt with quickly & in confidence. No more empty promises, time for action say campaigners ✍️in @TheScotsman www.scotsman.com/news/opinion...
Horrific Glasgow paedophile ring shows how Scotland fails vulnerable children
Scotland needs whistleblowing office so that concerns about possible child abuse, sexual and physical, can be reported and investigated more quickly

Practical impact is a basic rate tax payer gives a charity £100 - charity gets £125; higher rate payer gives £70 (£100 with tax relief) charity still gets £125. Doesn’t seem fair.
Are there any tax policy experts out there? Or politicians with an interest in tax and charity giving?
What is the rationale for giving higher rate tax payers tax relief on their charity giving but not to those who pay basic rate. Asking as a confused basic rate tax payer 😂

Sturgeon’s friend Swinney has been left to clean up the mess created by her obsession with identify politics….The lanyards are fraying now…But women are still dying prematurely because of their sex. That is Nicola Sturgeon’s enduring legacy. Me in @TheScotsman

As SNP government contradicts itself over ‘pregnant men’, the real gender scandal goes unnoticed

“All we hope for is that sanity returns to our legislators and the ordinary, biological meaning of sex, is just that, ordinary.”
