The vet called with Hayworth’s blood test results. Her lymphocyte count is even higher than in the first test. A pathologist is going to look at the sample, but I’m afraid the conclusion will be that she has cancer.

Weigh-in this evening for #Reign. She’s at 1080g right before tackling her evening meal. I understand 1080-1100g has been her normal weight range, so we’re on target.

I think #Reign is developing a crush on Spike. He took off when I came over with the camera, and she clearly wanted him to linger. Tabitha came over to converse in his place.

OMP I caught Meadow napping in The Lair next to Reign’s guest cottage. Tabitha came over to say hello to Reign, and Meadow woke up and chased Tabs off. Then Meadow went over to say hello to Reign.

The ingredients for the fur babies’ Thanksgiving feast are in hand, including the biggest celery I’ve ever seen. It’s more than 2 feet tall with the leaves intact.
Spring mix, Romaine, radicchio, carrots, bell pepper, dill, parsley, mint, corn., green apple, watermelon. Something for everypeeg.

Hayworth finally went in for a follow-up blood draw, and Meadow came along for a nail trim and moral support. In and out in half an hour, and both the ladies were brave.

Our Mystery Guest has had a quiet day, ending with introductory lap time followed by floor time. They hung outside The Lair to meet each of my hooligans through the bars. Back in the freshly-tidied guest house, they were taking a quiet moment in the pigloo.

Kora has pneumonia, this is the first time she tries to eat by herself since two days. I’m so happy even if we still have a long fight in front of us, this illness is hard on elderly guinea pigs
But we’re going to do whatever we can.

Yeah, Hayworth’s turn to be in heat, and I think she’s just warming up.
Moments ago she strutted into the middle of The Lair like she’s the star of a floor show and started shaking her booty at Spike, who was just sitting there minding his own business and hoping for extra #snac.

I don’t know what got into them, but Tabitha and Hayworth both went into popcorn frenzies at tidy time this evening. Absolutely running around and bucking like babies. ❤️
