The fact that not only is the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is still increasing, but the *rate of CO2 increasing* in the atmosphere is still increasing is true nightmare stuff.

“[Last year] CO2 in the global surface atmosphere increased by 3.5 ppm, the largest one-year increase since modern measurements began... This increase was driven by continued fossil CO2 emissions, enhanced fire emissions and reduced terrestrial/ocean sinks… which could signal a climate feedback.”

Wild! This NOAA video shows how quickly fossil fuel CO2 can accumulate. It shows daily fossil CO2 over a 2 year period (2011-2012), starting with a concentration of *Zero*: "By the end of 2012, the entire Northern Hemisphere is red, illustrating a total accumulation of about 9 to 10 ppm of CO2"

Wenn ich den Grünen einen einzigen Tipp geben würde, wäre es: Schaut euch an, wie Zack Polanski die Green Party UK von der völligen Bedeutungslosigkeit ins Rampenlicht führt, mit einem klaren linken Kurs und der Gewissheit, dass der Kampf gegen die Klimakatastrophe eben auch Klassenkampf ist!

Journalists ought to be reporting more on the accident (tbc) aboard the shadow fleet tanker Falcon. How it demonstrates the increased risks of these aging and uninsured ships. This could as easily have happened in Baltic or North Sea. And who would have covered the environmental clean up?
