You guys - it's gonna be the prettiest test I have ever made. There's Tikz diagrams and like boxes where they can fill in their answers :D

I bet all 200 of them say: OMG this is the most beautiful test ever ;)

One consequence of bringing lunch more is I often ask myself: "Is 10am too early to eat my sandwich?"

In my not bringing lunch era I feel like I would got to 2pm and be like - "yeah I'd better go eat something"

There is a lot of nonsense right now, but I had a really great time at office hours where we talked about conditional probabilities, Bayes' theorem, why my generation was too hard to judge the prequels negatively and I heard a new time-loop theory on BTTF2 that I love

Admin love their metrics, but sometimes, it’s just:

That’s enough.

No regrets about being late. I’ve spent enough years being early to things that didn’t matter.

Was late to a meeting with an admin.

Surprisingly, it was not *for the drama*. But helping a student of mine - a transfer student lost in understanding her new campus rules.

She left feeling less alone & (I hope) less confused.

Not a flex. Just choosing care > optics.

This is my new AY energy.

Quick question for my fellow professor colleagues, if you are running a student program & use a food vendor that isn't in the campus system are you as faculty supposed to (1) know how to add a vendor to said system, (2) add the vendor to said system?

At lunch a student stopped me to say they enjoyed class today 🥰 Surprised & grateful.

The institution? Exhausting.
The students? Everything.

I would hope we can have a period when Halloween and Christmas are not both present.

And I always feel so bad for Thanksgiving - like no one cares about it.

Maybe we need like a Labor Day + Thanksgiving holiday mashup like Nightmare Before Christmas....I'll think on it.
