Metro says it’s going to close the southwest entrance to Lone Fir Cemetery for 10 months starting in spring *gestures* so construction workers can use it exclusively while working on the long planned Chinese cemetery memorial building project.

Multnomah County says Burnside Bridge has reopened to road traffic.

"After maintenance crews were able to deploy a temporary fix, road traffic has reopened on the Burnside Bridge. River traffic under the Bridge will remain closed while crews continue their work."

Burnside Bridge closed for "the next two hours" according to bridge attendant. They've blocked off the road at MLK and Couch now and on the other side at West 2nd, so there's less traffic build-up now. But they won't even let you walk across.
