We need to acknowledge the brilliant South Park Episode from July 23, 2025. Crass? Yes. A bit heavy-handed? Also yes. But this is ART. It's Resistance again growing tyranny. It's truth. Watch it. Share. Be uncomfortable. Think. #Trump #southpark

One of the things I'm doing to deal with this hellscape of reality is I made my own #sourdough starter and I've been baking sourdough.

Do what feeds your soul.

(6) Respectfully submitted: Women are not men's property. We do not exist simply to make babies. We have aspirations of our own. We are fully human. And THIS IS WHY MANY WOMEN WORK AND WHY WE NEED TO CONTROL OUR OWN FERTILITY. #misogyny #Patriarchy

(5) He follows this up with, "She says she wants to keep her skin in the game. As if it's important. She'll just have to quit anyway if she gets pregnant again." (Punctuated by a guffaw and a nudge.) #misogyny

(4) I missed some of the convo, but next thing I hear Guy #2 saying, "I don't know why she wanted to go back to work... she could have stayed at home and had more babies." I almost choked on my salad. #misogyny

(3) ... that was supposed to say "nearest." LOL. So Guy #1 asked about family, Guy #2 starts discussing his wife. "NO ONE is more tired than her." He says with eyeroll, voice dripping with sarcasm. #misogyny

The truth of January 6th can't be erased. Watch the pardoned criminals brutally attacking police inside the Capitol and see what some call 'patriotism.' No spin, just facts.

I reached the anger stage of grieving today. And that's ok. It's a process. It's hard to deal with this abject abnormality and to realize the deathgrip the oligarchy has on us. I still believe in the ultimate goodness of humanity. Today I rage; tomorrow I work anew for the betterment of humanity.

This is a great reminder from day one of how they work; three or four times a day, every day, they will do something and then insist they didn’t do it and force everyone to burn out arguing that it is what it is.

The sole purpose is to exhaust you and it will absolutely work if you let it.
you don't need a phd in right wing extremism to recognize a nazi salute. what the fuck are we doing here.

I spent the day making lasagne with homemade turkey bolognase sauce, homemade bread (my first without a bread machine) and homemade butter (my absolute first.) In between I did schoolwork. Creating and working with my hands and not engaging with any news today was perfect. #MLKDay #newsblackout

Dastardly Damsels edited by @suzie-sam2.bsky.social is an amazing anthology of horror written by women. These authors know their way around the genre and deliver stories from the weird to the bloody to the slow burn creepy and everything in-between! Highly recommend.
