It's official! The Evaporative Cooler Forecaster app is now available¹ GLOBALLY in 175 countries! If you use an evaporative cooler, check out the app. It lets you know when it'll work well, and how much energy and costs you could save.

If you're in Australia and use an Evap Cooler, you're in luck! The Evaporative Cooler Forecaster app is free to download in the Apple and Android/Google Play app stores!
It supports Celsius for telling you whether your cooler will work, and it supports A$ for showing you how much you could save!

Enjoy your swamp cooler in the desert parts of the US during this Autumn "shoulder season". Even with temperatures over 95°F in SoCal, it's easy to save money and electricity with an evaporative cooler.
If you're more familiar with Celsius than Fahrenheit, the app now fully supports Celsius!!

A well-performing whole-house swamp cooler will drop the temperature of the water in your reservoir to within 1-2°F of your current outdoor wet bulb temperature. If the reservoir temperature is a lot higher, then your unit isn't working at top efficiency: check your pads, pump and fan in that order!

What new features are coming to the app?
Right now I'm working on adding live data from weather stations to the system, so you can get an even more accurate recommendations (using near real-time weather data!)
It's very complicated and a lot bigger task than I expected, but I'm making progress! 🤞😁
