Love sometimes takes a little work! 😜

Personally, I mix up my own powder detergent and use just as much as I think the clothes need each time. I use a common recipe: 2 parts Washing Soda, 2 parts Borax, 1 part OxiClean generic equivalent, and if your "1 part"="1 cup" then add about 6 ounces of a Zote Bar, grated, or another brand.

Think of the dumbest person you know. The truly mind-numbingly dumb one. You have one, I'm sure. Now imagine they work for Big Detergent in their technical manual department.

Hope you stay much cooler!

♥️🐧❄️ I love when my swamp cooler is so effective I'm tempted to pull out the electric blanket at night.

True.
And that doesn't include the additional heat from the swamp cooler's fan motor... and the dehumidifier's fan motor... and the dehumidifier compressor motor's waste heat.
I took infrared pictures of my swamp cooler once, and while it was blasting 65° air, I could see the fan motor was 90°+ too.

Oh dear. I hope you can give it a cleaning and/or replace the pads.

If it's dry enough outside, a swamp cooler can turn 113° into 75°, but it needs to be super dry. I've used mine up to 120°, but I boosted the performance with outdoor misters. I made my app specifically to help know when the swamp cooler will work: swampcooler.app It's free, and shows savings too. 🐧

♥️♥️♥️ I love it!

Glad it's working out for you! This summer has been exceptionally dry in parts of the southwest US. Keep cool!!

My heart. ❤️

It's also amazing to have a whole-house swamp cooler! It's not a 100% replacement for A/C, but here in the southwest US desert, I use my whole-home swamp cooler about 70% of the time, instead of A/C. As long as the weather is dry, it's incredible. I even made a free app to help: swampcooler.app 😎

Wow. 8" thick pads!!! That's some serious cooling pad power! 🙌
If you swap between A/C and evaporative cooling, you might like my free app for giving you an evaporative cooler forecast, based on your local weather. It even shows your energy and cost savings. swampcooler.app if you're interested.

If you want a more precise forecast for swamp coolers, I made a free app for this which uses your local weather forecast to tell when the swamp cooler will (or won't) work, and how much energy and cost you can save. swampcooler.app

You might want to try out my free app to give you the swamp cooler forecast- it uses your local weather forecast to tell you when it will or won't work due to humidity or extreme temperatures. swampcooler.app

I just ♥️ how repairable swamp coolers are. I just replaced the pump in mine, and it was surprisingly easy.
