Love to write conversations between Yuri and the hallucination of his father because a.) The angst and b.) He is based on a real person who did real, terrible things but at the end of the day it's still comming straight from Yuri's mind so the worse he feels, the more cruel those visions become.

If people can't read between the lines and understand that sometimes traumatized characters subscribe to bad/wrong beliefs about themselves and their situations, not my problem.

Just erased a whole bunch of dialogue I wrote because I realized I was compromising the story by having Yuri suddenly have an out of the blue self-reflective moment so he could counter what his father was saying so the audience knew he was wrong and that wasn't the writer's beliefs lmao 👎
