Visiting the future leaders of Alberta at York School was the highlight of my day.

We talked about laws, LEGO, and the Legislature!

I’m wishing the very best of luck to all of our Canadian athletes for the upcoming Olympics.

We’re cheering you on every step of the way! 🥇❄️

Come on over to the Family Day Festival at Steele Heights Baptist Church on Monday, February 16, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be food, crafts, games, and fun for the whole family! I will see you there!

It's Throwback Thursday! Tomorrow is the start of the Olympics. This competition celebrates athletes' hard work and the friendships between nations.

I had the honour of being a volunteer at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics—an experience that I will never forget.

Go team Canada!

It was great to spend time with our future leaders at Steele Heights Junior High School. They had so many great questions that included:
• Why did you choose this position?
• What advice would you give to someone who wants to work in politics?
• What do you like debating about?

It was a pleasure to attend the Edmonton Interfaith Breakfast this morning. We always need to ensure that human rights are respected and upheld and I am committed to doing so everyday.

Albertans have worked their entire lives for their retirement and deserve to know their pensions are safe. They don’t want the UCP government gambling with their savings or risking a costly exit from the CPP.

I will continue standing up for Albertans and protecting your pension.

Sign the petition and demand accountability from the UCP government.
Albertans are dying waiting for care.
Hospitals are operating far above capacity.

Lives are at risk, and the Premier has yet to acknowledge or take any action to fix the health care crisis.

Thank you to the MacEwan University business program for inviting me to your campus. It was inspiring to hear about your vision for supporting students and building Alberta’s future.

I’ve heard from hundreds of Albertans about the growing chaos in our health care system. Emergency rooms are overwhelmed and frontline workers are stretched to the limit.

We don’t need privatization. We need real solutions and proper funding to protect and strengthen public health care.

Expanding our agricultural opportunities will strengthen our economy and build a stronger future for us all.

I am committed to working alongside the agriculture producers of this province to help create the conditions that attracts meaningful investment and supports good paying jobs.

This talk of separatism hurts our economy and creates uncertainty while distracting from real issues like car insurance, grocery bills, housing costs, and affordability.

That’s why I’ve signed a pledge to stand up for Alberta in Canada. I’m an Albertan and a Canadian.
January 27, 2026 at 11:26 PM
I am opposed to separatism. Separatism doesn’t reduce the cost of living, build hospital beds, or hire teachers. It scares away investment and jobs, and it damages our future economy. I am a proud Albertan and a proud Canadian and we need the UCP government to stand with Team Canada.

The UCP government needs to provide immediate investments to ensure that seniors in continuing care are in a safe and clean environment and we also need them to support my health care whistleblower protection bill, Bill 204, when it comes to a vote.
WATCH LIVE as Alberta’s New Democrats demand immediate action to ensure seniors receive safe, dignified continuing care.

The UCP must take responsibility for the crisis at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre.

The Fraser Community League Annual General Meeting is tonight at 6:30 p.m. and afterwards there will be an Adult Game Night! This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbours and have some fun.

At committee it was made clear that more protections and better legislation is needed to protect whistleblowing healthcare workers. The UCP government needs to vote in favour of my bill to give these frontline workers the protection that they need to speak up about mismanagement and corruption.
January 22, 2026 at 6:01 PM
It is dangerous for there to be a culture that scares frontline health care workers into silence. My bill will provide workers in publicly funded health care entities whistle blower protection. The UCP government needs to vote in favour of Bill 204.

Thank you to the team at RDAR for inviting me to speak at this year’s showcase. With policy shifts south of the border and internationally, we need to secure our economic future and @naheednenshi.bsky.social, my colleagues, and I are committed to listening and working with you.
January 21, 2026 at 10:17 PM
My bill will ensure that transparency and accountability are a foundation in our health care system. Whistle blowers deserve to be protected and we need the UCP government to vote in favour of Bill 204.

Alberta separatism is a real threat to Canada and the UCP government is using this as a distraction away from their record on underfunding health care. You deserve better.
Danielle Smith is entirely responsible for allowing this separatist rhetoric to continue. It’s also a distraction from the real issues facing Alberta right now, like the health care crisis in our hospitals and emergency rooms.

You deserve better. For Alberta and for Canada.

The UCP government is more focused on their separatist agenda than addressing the underfunding of our health system or the affordability crisis. Their divisive rhetoric threatens unity in our country and you deserve better.

This is good news for our agriculture and forestry sector! I know folks have been waiting a long time for this issue to be resolved and I am glad to see the tariffs being lifted off our imported exports like canola.

Hospitals and emergency rooms are in crisis and the UCP government isn't addressing the problem. Albertans deserve action instead of silence.
We've already been saying this for months: Alberta’s hospitals and emergency rooms are in crisis.

Doctors and patients have been sounding the alarm. Danielle Smith and the UCP government must take urgent action to fix the health care chaos they have created.

In the fall, MLA @sweetmla.bsky.social introduced Bill 204 to protect #healthcare whistleblowers. Now, MLA @shoffmanab.bsky.social will be introducing Motion 506 to create a healthcare workforce strategy.

Alberta's New Democrats are committed to supporting public healthcare, not #corruptcare.

I saw members of the UCP government laughing and smiling about taking away Albertan’s human rights. This is not a joke. It’s extremely disrespectful and this is nothing to be proud of. #ableg
