Here's a little throwback to one of my first customs, Nautica.

I really loathed the TR one, and it was a pricey figure to begin with. This figure is what got me into the "fine... I'll do it myself" mode for making figures.

AOTP Fireflight

4 down, one to go! I mean, I feel like aside from better articulation and combined mode there isn't much to say about the new iterations of the Aerialbots aside from pointing and saying "look at this guy, amiright?".

Honestly, I'm super excited for the Combaticons and Bruticus.

Mario Wave 03 - Diddy Kong

Rounding out this wave is Diddy Kong!

Made from a RiD2015 Groundbuster, his alt mode is a bit silly, but the bot mode seemed like a good fit!

Tentatively, my plans for wave 04/05 are Koopa Troopas, and a Piranha Plant, with Bowser, Link and Kirby following up the rear

He's finally here!

You don't realize literally how much bigger he is than his previous fig until they're side by side.

Aside from his feet being a lil finicky fitting together for his alt mode he's definitely a needed upgrade.

I know I post mostly bot stuff. It's a good distraction from *waves hands around* all of this and it's good for my mental health. I got into doing the custom toys for that very reason: art therapy.

This big dumb dumb had to go to the vet for her lip and then was not friendly enough for a full exam, so she's gotta go back Sunday.

We got a closer look at AOTP Brawl this week and, personally, I like what I'm seeing, ESPECIALLY that feet are feet!

Really curious on how Onslaught is going to work with the legs (we already know how the arms work looking at Vortex).

Shockwave/Shockblast custom rounds out my road-worthy Decepticons. Inspired by Alternators Shockblast, with a yellow grill highlight to echo his eye in alt mode. Trailbreaker’s gun + Cyberverse head finish him off.

What 3 bots would make good Insecticons? Motorcycles maybe?

I mean, when we voted for Activate Your Alt Mode, I didn't see Shockwave the Space Whale on my Bingo Card, but here we are. Honestly I'm in. This looks fun! The one NEEDS to come with a clear stand!

This is a big no for me, personally. First, they made Soundwave a Netflix exclusive and he was impossible to buy, then you had to buy him over again just to get Buzzsaw, and now he comes with everything, but the tapes don't even look like actual tapes anymore.

Driftstream (Slipstream custom) finishes my Makotron car Seekers. Built from the Jazz mold: visor + speaker wings = turbine blades. Shoulder shell adds built-in guns. Lots of partsforming, but flexible for different Slipstream looks.

Scored the Hot Wheels x Transformers Ultra Magnus & Tracks at Target/Walmart last week. Magnus doesn’t haul cars (wishful thinking) and Tracks’ color shift is tough to pull off, but both are fun additions to my pop culture car collection. Hoping the line continues!

FINALLY, a proper Ramhorn. Titans Return had nice “girth,” but this one actually turns into a cassette, even with some partsforming.

Ratbat’s great too—G1-accurate colors and those back rockets make him stand out. (3/3)

Post 2 (Perceptor vs previous version)
Hard to say which Perceptor I like more.

The older one had cool clear bits, but the new one has a fixed torso and back hinge. If they were the same colors, I’d just part swap them. (No, I’m not painting them!) 😆 (2/3)

Transformers Studio Series Perceptor.

Show of hands, who got this 3-pack just for Ramhorn?

For Perceptor, they updated the colors, removed clear parts (scope and tray), gave him a back cover, and tweaked the torso. The change means the “secret” tank mode no longer tabs in. (1/3)
