This is a question for the custom community folks. How do you feel when you spend time on a custom, choose "the right mold" only to see Hasbro come to the same conclusion and make an "official release" of it?

Transformers x Pittsburgh Steelers - Steelsmash
First thoughts - The helmet alt mode is spot on, but for a figure that is supposed to represent athleticism and sports, he sucks for poseability. I would have loved better hands and options to hold the ball and a LOT less kibble.

Hot Wheels x Transformers - Twin Mill
The not great: A lot of partsforming for the weapons for better or worse, and giant empty space in the legs.
The good: He's got a sweet alt mode and comes with some fun blast effects, plus he's pretty poseable.

Bone Shaker - Hot Wheels x Transformers
Of the two new Hot wheels crossover figures I probably like Bone Shaker more. Don't get me wrong he does have some issues; those shoulder REALLY limit poseability, but otherwise he's pretty fun.
Here's hoping they make a couple Decepticons to race against!

Bone Shaker - Hot Wheels x Transformers
Of the two new Hot wheels crossover figures I probably like Bone Shaker more. Don't get me wrong he does have some issues; those shoulder REALLY limit poseability, but otherwise he's pretty fun.

Tomb Raider x Transformers Crossover
I used AotP Red Alert along w/ a custom head for this one. Alt mode is inspired by the Fortnite Tomb Raider vehicle.
Between that alt mode and the thighs/chest layout Red Alert, he's a perfect base for her figure.
I still haven't figured out a name? Thoughts?

Transformers AOTP 4 Pack - Horribull
Yes, I only wanted Horri-Bull to update my old Terror Dog idea I did awhile back with Sinnertwins. That said, the horns don't actually work for what Vinz or Zuul have. 🤷♂️
I am surprised with how many parts they reused from TR Skullcruncher.

I know I put these together as a kind of creepy vibe (hey, it's almost Halloween) but honestly, Flatline is a pretty interesting character, I mean a Decepticon that follows his medical oath and helps with Autobots? AND the toy is oodles cooler in this deco than Red Alert.

I only grabbed the 4 pack for a couple figures and this wasn't one of them. But after opening him, honestly I really like him. I didn't realize he was smaller than both Missing Link & Devastation Prime but here we are.
Pretty solid, pretty poseable and fun.

So I've been building out my Nintendo customs and realized that I eventually want to do some Smash Bros. styles designs down the road.
As such, I'm realigning the waves under the Smash Bros. Crossover banner to better encompass everything that isn't purely a Super Mario Bros character.
