"The only trouble with capitalism is capitalists; they're too damned greedy" - President Hoover (R)

Google, what's a psychopath's personality?
If we consider people under 13 not mature enough, can we look at the other end as well, where people lose their rational as they get old, and make the same rule for those over 70? It seems that this is around when many are no longer in touch with reality. I think it's important to talk about this.

This article, about how Europe has been changing over time closer to US culture, only to be criticized by it's own "hero", is eye opening and quite interesting! 👁️ I hope this circulates in Europe's main newspapers, too...

Interesting interview with Gavin Newsom on Ezra Klein podcast. Here are some excerpts where a interesting question is asked, related to how many right wing extremest originated and still live in California. (Klein's comments/questions are in bold text).

Farmers bailout is welfare - just like Medicaid. No one wants to be on it, but they have to.
Farmers are welfare queens. But guess what, so are you:

I hope more GOP operatives will find courage to come up for air and stay up...
"As a Republican digital fundraiser, I fed off of these news stories. We routinely circulated the latest Fox News report that depicted waves of migrants at the border or violence in cities. These stores were catnip to our donor base, and it kept them trapped in an alternate universe of lies."

The latest on the extremist efforts in US. 👀
NEWS: We filed a brief to challenge extremist efforts to invalidate the National Firearms Act and roll back registration requirements to purchase machine guns, silencers, “destructive devices,” and other weapons

This threatens our communities’ safety – so we're pushing back in court.

Two months ago I wrote about why my law firm is litigating 63 voting and election cases. Today it is 65 cases covering more than half the country. Eleven of them involve redistricting.

Where are the big law firms? Why isn't legacy media covering this? www.democracydocket.com/opinion/why-...

Everyone (esp media) pay attention. In 2021 almost every Republican attacked the Biden administration and State dept for being too slow in approving Afghanistan special visas as Afghanistan fell.

Now they are attacking Biden for doing what they asked him to do.

Arguing in an aggressive way is not healthy for the relationship. You may like it to blow off steam, but it's not a sign of healthy relationship or a healthy mind and it scares the kids, too. However, discussing a topic calm and collected, with respectful words is healthy. Using a timer can help.
